Rutgers is a team in transition once again and its hard to know how this team will respond. They have multiple players requesting to be redshirted in order to save a year of eligibility in what appears to be a lost season already. The offense will probably be lead by third string Quarterback Johnny Langan and after that who knows with all the redshirting requests. The defense is once again not stopping anything and it looks like this will be a long rest of the season for the Scarlet Knights.

Indiana is coming off their bye week and can’t be caught looking ahead. This will be another game for Michael Penix Jr. to get more experience and confidence as he is the leader of the offense. Penix has created some good chemistry with Wide Receiver Whop Philyor and will look to build on that against a porous Rutgers defense. The one disappointment for this Hoosier offense has been Running Back Stevie Scott III who has yet to get going. Luckily for him Indiana has a couple games coming up where they should be able to feed him the ball and get the offense a little more balanced. Indiana should have no problem slowing down Rutgers who will be without their top two Quarterbacks. The question with this game isn’t if Indiana will win but by how much.
